My homemade Fondant icing ;)

I've tried many ready to rolled fondant and they are all ok in terms of texture but the taste?! Hmm not really good!! And for me taste is VERY important!! So, after my 2 days class for fondant and gumpaste I've tried to make my very own fondant icing. And i was really glad on how it turned out, the texture and taste are good!!! And to try it out I made a Spongebob cake and covered it with fondant!!! So there's my Spongebob cake hope you all like it ;)

My First Mom's Day!!!

I know its very late but still I wanna
share my mother's day project that I did
for all my fellow Moms.
I bought a new Cricut cartridge Sweet tooth Cartridge from my favorite
online craft store scrap-n-crop.com, it cost me around
150RM.

You can cut many cute boxes from this cartridge but I decided to cut

this Very cute cupcake holder.

I didn't cut the bottom part of the cone. And also didn't used the cherry top. 

You can always change and choose design for this. I used a hot pink paper for the

top part and a brown paper for the lower part. And cut a 1" heart to put in the top of the

cone.Also, I embossed the pink paper using my cuttlebug machine to add texture

to the paper.

I baked Red Velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting.

It was a success! they all love it!!!

Here's my recipe:

2 cups all purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 TBsp cocoa powder

100 grams unsalted butter

1 1/4 cups sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

200 ml buttermilk

1 1/2 TBsp red food color

1 tsp distilled vinegar

1 tsp baking soda

Cream cheese frosting:

200 grams cream cheese

1 tsp vanilla

100 grams icing sugar

1 cup cold heavy whipping cream (35-40% butterfat)

Hey there!!! so I've been working @ home since Monday

I decided to make one for her.

Medal Cake

This is for my housemate Ian, well he's into Running 

and so I decided to make a medal cake (well im not really amazed by my work here lol)

and its a Chocolate cake with Butter cream frosting.

So there...hope you all like it hehe..
